1.The Hotel Colorado is at the 2nd floor of a building without lift
2.The Reception is open from 8am to 8pm. If you need to arrive after 8pm, please advise us in order to get organised. After the check-in you will have your key and you can come in and out at any time.
3.Rooms are available after 12pm and before 8pm.
4.The months of April, May, June, September,October and New Years Eve and Easter are high season.
5.If you wish to visit the Uffizi Gallery we recommend to reserve the entrance at least 2 or 3 weeks in advance.
6.You can park your car only outside the historical city center, on the street (paying blue lines) or in a parking. The closest parking is in Piazza della Libertà , the name is Parterre.
7.Each time you arrive at the hotel by car, please inform the reception and leave the registration number of your car.
8.In order to confirm a booking we always need a credit card number and expiry date to keep only as garantee.
Hotel Colorado Florence is a very nice budget hotel, recently restructured and thoroughly improved thanks to the efforts of the new ownership and the affiliation to the Marazzini Hotels Group.
The hotel is 15 minutes on foot from S.M. Novella train station, and is conveniently located in the very centre of the city, only 5 minutes from the Duomo Cathedral and 10 from the Uffizi Gallery.
The central position allows a profitable use of the efficient public transport system: in S. Marco Square, in the same block of Hotel Colorado, you will find buses for all city destinations.
The area is very safe, so you can enjoy Florentine nights in absolute tranquillity. Reception is open from 8:00 to 24:00 and the staff speaks English, French and Italian.

By Taxi: the ride is only 15/20 minutes it depends from the traffic.At night there is an extra charge.
From highway
A1 Firenze Nord or A11(coming from Bologna o Lucca): follow the sign direction CENTRO or STADIO, until Piazza della Libertà , keep the right and turn right in via Cavour, we are on the left hand side at the number 66. You can stop on the side and leave the bags, after we will give you directions to the parking Parterre. It is only 10 minutes walking from the hotel.
